108hr RYT Summer Yoga Intensive
This urban yoga retreat is sure to act as a tool for personal growth. Students will be immersed in the yoga lifestyle from morning to night. The day will begin @ 6am with morning sadhana, pranayama, meditation and Kriyas, followed by a morning asana practice at 7am. Breakfast will be taken on site. Lectures and studies will take place between 10:00am - 4:00pm daily followed by a second yoga class.
The Yoga Intensive is best suited for the intermediate to advanced student of yoga (recommended 2 years of regular practice). However, other fitness instructors & enthusiasts, personal trainers, health professionals, and yoga students with an ernest desire to expand their knowledge of yoga are also very welcome.
Applicants wishing to use this course toward a 200hr RYT certification will also need to complete the following within a 2 year period:
- Yoga Anatomy Fundamentals course
- select lectures held in the Spring or Fall teacher training (dates provided upon request)
- 50 hours of teaching and assisting
- homework assignments
- practicum exam
- written exam
Before commencement date, required reading should also be completed. Book list will be released upon registration.
